: My latest build The Aurora 3D
: Walter Johnson April 16, 2014, 07:53:20 PM
Just got the email from Fred about this new forum thought I'd post my latest build. Its called the Aurora has a 39" span powered by a 450 size 1100kv outrunner 25amp ESC 1300mah 3 cell pack 10X4.7 APC slow fly prop all epp foam with carbon spars. All up weight with battery 21 ounces holds up its own weight easily at half throttle. I'm now working on a Canidair 415 twin water bomber this has twin 400 size outrunner motors and should be just perfect up at the Mansfield dam hydro field. I'll try attaching some pics of the Aurora.BCNU Walt ;)

Cool plane Walter !
Love to see a thread or at least hear more about the water bomber . I've been tempted to build the kit AMR offers but never pulled the trigger

Should be a great flier.  Bernie Liskov has Canidair 415 twin water bomber & had a couple of problems with it the first time he tried to fly it.

 8) Hi Fred, I put up three pics last night they are thumbnails just below the post I can see them and open them.Hi Len yeah that kit would be an awesome build for sure this one is by far more simple came from KMP models in Canada and is molded foam.Would be a quick build but needs a few mods for reliability and water proofing. I'll take a couple of pics and will put them up.BCNU Walt 8)
