Minutes of the January 15th, 2003 Meeting
The meeting was called to order at 8:05 PM with 30 members in attendance. Lou Carpio (VP) Standing in for President Fred Meyer. The minutes of the last meeting were accepted as read.
The Treasurer reported and accepted as follows, Dec. beginning balance $7,168.92, Income $900.00, Expenses $1,087.14, Closing balance $6,981.78.
Old Business:
Camp Odetah- Date Changed to Sat June 21st @ 1:00. You must contact Dick Wilkins if you are interested, He has received an Informal Invite (fly about 1 hour total) Float planes off the water for spectators (guests at the campground)
Additional Parking- Fred Meyer & Ron Czikowsky talked to Gadbois when they resigned the lease, No problem in creating additional parking to be added south of the flight pads.
Web Sight- Fred Meyer will set up a meeting, consisting of a group involved with the newsletter and website people. To go over issues involved with putting our newsletter online. No update at Jan. Meeting.
Christmas Club Banquet- Next year- We will need to set a date ASAP to get a good place on the weekend we want. Looking at possibly first weekend in December (6th). Defiantly want to have one next year but when. Christmas or maybe February (Valentines?) Motion made to have banquet - when? – Tabled.
R/C Propbusters- We will be looking into the paperwork on the club from the state, and the difference Non-profit, Cooperated, Incorporated, Etc. No Update.
New Business:
Field Maintenance Day- Headed by Jack Holmgren, Sat. April 19th. Ron Czikowsky will get us a cost estimate on fertilizer. Bernie Liskov will get us a cost estimate on new rope and U-hooks for the fence line. They will both report next meeting.
Club Auction- An annual club auction to take place at our March meeting. Headed by Dana Lord.
Mower overhaul- Motion made & passed to tear down the mower, see what will be needed and get estimate to us at the next meeting. Ron, Jack & Bernie will be working on this.
Newsletter editor assistant- Rich Ippolito will be getting free membership to our club as assistant editor, as it is a big job and assistant editors have received free membership in the past.

Bob Berringer Memorial Scale Fly In– Sat & Sun.-June 28 & 29, CD Dick Wilkins.
Henry Struck Memorial Electric Fly In- Sat. July 26, CD Needed.
Neighborhood Fun Fly-Sat. Aug 16
IMAA #392Giant Scale Fly-In Event @ Salem- Sat & Sun- Aug 30 & 31, no update.
Club Fun Fly- Sat Sept 13 / Rain Date Sun Sept 14
Helicopter Fun Fly- Sat & Sun- Sept 27 & 28
Raffle at meeting- Ted Campanelli donated a gallon of fuel to the club which was raffled off at the meeting and raised $14.00 for the treasury. Thank You Ted.
New member- 1 new member was voted in Gene Rozea, welcome to the club.
Plane of the Month- none
