Minutes of the December 17th, 2003 Meeting

The meeting was called to order at 8:06 PM with 17 members in attendance. The minutes of the last meeting were accepted as read.

The Treasurer reported and accepted as follows, November beginning balance $7,853.66, Income $.00, Expenses $.00, closing balance $7,853.66.

 Old Business:

·              Club Banquet- There will not be a Banquet this year for Propbusters.

·              R/C Propbusters- No update from Dick Wilkins .

·              Stones Ranch-. We still have had no response with the now 3 letters Fred has penned, if you know your towns Selectman, Rep. or Senate personally please contact Fred .  Stay tuned.

·              New sign- Tom Vernon will get in touch with the town hall about the restrictions on sign usage in the town.

·              Most Improved Flyer of the Year- Nominations are Lou Carpio & Dennis Duplice , a vote will be held at the Jan meeting

·              Moving the meeting site- To Gardner Lake firehouse, motion made Vote & passed to have Tom Vernon  investigate GLFH as a meeting place for our 2004 monthly meetings as long as the cost is not more than $300.00 per year, No Update from Tom, Fred will find out and let membership know ASAP if any changes are made.

New Business:

·              2004 Events- Start to think about the events & dates for next years schedule, this will be addressed at the Jan. meeting.

·              Applications- Please be sure to fill out your membership applications COMPLETELY, All information being asked has a purpose; the club cannot accurately compile and keep on hand a list of how many members are using which channels. This is kept for any new members coming into the club to know which channels are most available for use without much conflict.  

  New members:  None.

Plane of the Month:  John Judd brought in his P-40, Sport model.
