Minutes of the July 16th,
2003 Meeting
The meeting was called to order at 8:05 PM
with 11 members in attendance. The minutes of the last meeting were accepted as
read.
The Treasurer reported and accepted as
follows, June beginning balance $6,588.72, Income $783.00, Expenses $307.85,
closing balance $7,063.87.
Old Business:
Club Banquet- Fred
is looking back at early December as a date, stay tuned.
R/C Propbusters- Dick
Wilkins is making progress on type of club, stay tuned.
Possible New flying site- Fred
and Dick Wilkins looked at Stones Ranch as a possible flying sight. Fred has
penned a letter to officially ask permission to use the site and we are
waiting on a response. Stay tuned.

Schedule of Events- As follows:
Bob Berringer Memorial Scale Fly In-
Sat & Sun.-June 28 & 29, CD Dick Wilkins. 16 pilots attended over the
2 days and the club had a nice turn out for this event.
Henry Struck Memorial Electric Fly In-
Sat. July 26, CD Jorge Cintron. Everything is all set, Fred will handle food.
Neighborhood Fun Fly-Sat.
Aug 16. Chair person Mark Rice. We have trainers all
lined up. Looking for at least one scout troop already coming. We will supply
free food and will be accepting donations. Looks like it will be a great
event.
IMAA #392Giant Scale Fly-In Event @
Salem- Sat & Sun- Aug
30 & 31. Same deal as last year, club gets 50% of sign up fees.
Club Fun Fly- Sat
Sept 13 / Rain Date Sun Sept 14. No games this year, just a fun fly with free
food. Plan on showing up to fly and just have fun.
Helicopter Fun Fly- Sat
& Sun- Sept 27 & 28. Charlie Lewis has his CD card; sanction may have
been sent out.
Camp Odeata- June
21St -1:00-2:00-Dick Wilkins had 4
planes show up and 1 1/2 flew, there were about 40 spectators.
New Instructors-
Ron Czikowsky and Brian Jolicouer were voted in as new instructors.
Town of Preston demo- wed,
July 23rd @5:30, Fred has pulled together a handful of pilots for this demo.
New members- August
Reil Jr, Dan Arensmeyer, William Fishman and Harry Culver, were voted in;
welcome gentlemen and welcome back Ed Durrua.
