Old Business:

Bob Beringer Fly-In :  Will remain a 2-day event this year.  Proper advertising will be done so that the turnout rises this year.  Volunteers are asked for to help with the event.  DB limit for noise for all aircraft will remain at 100db for sake of our new neighbors.

Henry Struck Electric Fly-In:  No changes at this point.  Dates will be July 23rd and 24th.  With the continued advances in electric motors and lithium polymer batteries, this event should be the best one to date.

Neighborhood Fun Fly: August 14th.  No changes at this point

Club Fun-Fly:  John Banks is heading up this event and plans on having fun-fly events like balloon busts, limbo, loops and rolls contest, and many other events as well as general flying.  Club members will be asked for insight as to what events they would like to see/compete in as we get closer to the event.  There will be food and prizes at this event as well.

Heli-Flyin:  Eric is working hard on this event and progress is being made to make it the best so far.

Sign:  Bernie is just about finished with the sign and will be handing it off to Tom Vernon for installation at the spring cleanup.

Membership Cards:  Members are reminded to carry their membership cards and AMA cards on them at the field at all times.  We have run into several problems with non-members flying at the field without other members being present.

New Business:

Field Cleanup Day:  2nd Saturday in April, 9:00am at the Salem location.  Please bring rakes, shovels, etc to aid in the cleanup effort. New numbers will also be ordered for the frequency board.

IMAA Flyin: Dick Wilkins brought flyers to several IMAA events.  September 3 and 4th is the annual date of the District 1 Mini-fest.  Winterbury RC will host the event this year.  Flyers will be recreated in the newsletter and directions will also be posted for all those interested.

Doolittle Raiders: The original men responsible for the Doolittle raid on Tokyo are holding a reunion in Mystic this year on April, 15, 16, and 17th.  More information on this event can be found at www.doolittleraiders.com or can be found at the Mystic Chamber of Commerce at 860.572.9578 .

New Members:  Kevin Pelletier – from East Hartford was voted in as a new member.
